OAU Post UTME/DE Screening Eligibility and Requirements

Candidates must meet the following conditions:

  1. For UTME Candidates: Must have chosen OAU, Ile-Ife as the First Choice Institution in 2024 UTME and scored 200 and above.
  2. Possess at least five (5) credit passes, including English Language, at no more than two (2) sittings.
  3. Non-participation in Post-UTME screening leads to disqualification.
  4. For DE Candidates: No extra screening other than verification of uploaded credentials. Make sure that transcripts are forwarded to OAU’s Admission Office for DE Admission processing.

OAU Admission Screening General Requirements

The minimum entry requirement consists of:

  • A General Certificate of Education (or equivalent) with Credit passes in at least five subjects.
  • One pass must be at ‘O’ Level or equivalent in English Language.
  • Except for the Faculty of Arts, Law, and Bachelor of Arts in Education, one credit pass must be in Mathematics at ‘O’ Level.
  • A pass in the Higher School Certificate’s General Paper is equivalent to a credit pass in English Language at ‘O’ Level.

How to Apply for OAU Post UTME Form

The application window is open from 14th August to 11th September 2024. The screening fee is N2,000.

  3. Fill in the biodata form and click continue.

The screening will be done online (Candidates are not required to travel to the University for the exercise). Providing false information or uploading incorrect credentials will lead to disqualification.
