Arthur Jarvis University Admission Requirements
The university has outlined comprehensive eligibility criteria for prospective applicants, covering both UTME and Direct Entry candidates.
For UTME Candidates
- Candidates must have their 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) results and must have achieved the minimum cut-off mark as prescribed by JAMB.
- Aspirants must have credits at SSCE, GCE, NECO, or approved equivalent in at least five subjects, including English Language, Mathematics, and three other subjects specific to each programme.
- The five credits should be obtained in not more than two sittings.
- Candidates awaiting results are also eligible to apply.
- Applications must be submitted in person at the university.
- Those wishing to change their JAMB first choice to Arthur Jarvis University must apply for a change of institution through JAMB and provide the new admission letter to the University’s Admissions Unit.
For Direct Entry Candidates:
- Applicants must have an NCE at credit level, ND, or approved equivalents with at least Lower Credit in relevant fields.
- They should have at least two Advanced Level passes at an acceptable grade level.
- The Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB), Joint Universities Preliminary Examination Board (JUPEB) certifications are also accepted.
- Apart from NCE/ND/IJMB or JUPEB qualifications, candidates must also satisfy the Ordinary Level requirements.
- HND holders may be admitted to the 200 Level or 300 Level, subject to the regulations of each department or programme.
